Parking is available at the entrance to Shawnee Springs Preserve off Opequon Avenue, where a Civil War Trails interpretive panel explains the significance of the Sheridan Field Hospital. There is some off-street parking along the route and ample parking is available at Christianson Family Land in Jim Barnett Park, where restrooms are also available.
