Points of Interest & Destinations

The TRLP will provides a safe route for bicyclists and pedestrians to reach a variety of destinations in the city.  For visitors, it provides transportation options between our three major tourist destinations.

Jim Barnett Park, Shenandoah University, the Winchester-Frederick County Visitors Center, the Shenandoah University History & Tourism Center, and the future location of the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum, are now all interconnected with Old Town Winchester and the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley.

The trail allows tourists and citizens alike to walk or bike between these hubs and to visit Shawnee Springs and the Patsy Cline home.  The green space associated with the TRLP  provides a unique transportation experience by showcasing both our natural and historic resources.
