Winchester Green Circle

Winchester Medical Center has done some conceptual planning and cost estimates for multi-use trails throughout the campus.  There is also interest in continuing those trails with future expansions on the west side of Route 37.  No timeline for construction has been set.

The Winchester Medical Center trails could potentially connect with the Shenandoah University Pharmacy School, the old James Wood Middle School, Whittier Drive, and the northern bypass/Town Run trail.  Future expansions west of 37 could provide a much-needed safe route for bikes and pedestrians to a variety of destinations in Frederick County.
